Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments via phone/video consultations
- Apply clinical judgment to prioritize urgent cases and provide appropriate medical advice
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate seamless patient transitions
- Educate patients on home care protocols and preventive health measures
- Manage high call volumes efficiently in a fast-paced remote setting
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- 3+ years of clinical experience in ER, urgent care, or telehealth
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
