Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone/video triage using clinical protocols
- Provide evidence-based health advice and urgent care coordination
- Document encounters accurately in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with providers on high-risk patient cases
- Manage medication refills and care plan adjustments
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all virtual interactions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia
- 3+ years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Proficient in telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred
