Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with draping and positioning.
- Perform vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and basic EKGs.
- Administer injections and assist physicians with minor procedures.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments professionally.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
