Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and perform treatments according to established protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document clinical findings in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience (Critical Care or Med-Surg preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
