Responsibilities
- Deliver Patient Care: Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement nursing care plans under the supervision of senior staff.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Monitor Health: Observe and report changes in patient status, symptoms, and responses to treatment to ensure patient safety.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Emergency Response: Assist in emergency response situations and adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Education: Educate patients and families on health management, post-discharge care, and wellness resources.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and dedication to patient-centered care.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical records.
