Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and legible medical records and documentation.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
