As a Remote Weekend RN, you will be the first point of contact for patients requiring urgent medical attention during off-hours. Your expertise will bridge the gap between patients and physicians, ensuring continuity of care regardless of location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive remote patient assessments and triage via secure video and phone platforms.
- Evaluate symptoms, provide medical advice, and facilitate appropriate referrals to local Miami facilities when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, real-time documentation of all patient interactions and care plans in the EMR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider care team to ensure holistic patient management.
- Administer over-the-counter medications and provide health education to patients managing chronic conditions at home.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and company telehealth protocols to ensure patient privacy and data security.
Qualifications
- License: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in emergency medicine, telemetry, or telehealth.
- Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and remote communication technologies.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with occasional on-call requirements.
