Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Create performant, frame-perfect animations and transitions that enhance user engagement.
- Optimize rendering loops and asset management to ensure 60fps performance on all devices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into interactive code.
- Maintain and expand our internal libraries for 2D physics simulations and particle effects.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Experience with 2D physics engines (Matter.js, Box2D) or animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for visual performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
