Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
- Administer medication reminders and monitor vital signs
- Offer companionship through engaging activities and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Document care activities and communicate changes in health status
- Follow individualized care plans with precision and empathy
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate nature with patience for seniors' needs
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
