Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with precision
- Prepare nutritious meals and maintain clean, safe living environments
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and companionship
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community events
- Document care plans and maintain accurate client records
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass thorough background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Experience working with seniors with dementia or mobility challenges preferred
