Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and daily living assistance
- Administer medications and monitor health vitals
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate with families
- Implement personalized care plans under supervision
- Ensure safe home environment and fall prevention measures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Fluent in English (Hawaiian Pidgin a plus)
