Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain detailed care records and report health changes promptly
- Ensure safe home environment through fall prevention measures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with seniors
- Strong communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of dementia care principles preferred
