Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain medication logs
- Create engaging activity plans to promote cognitive stimulation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) required
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Thorough background check and drug screening required
