Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, societal shifts) to map 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Produce high-impact deliverables: trend reports, scenario plans, innovation roadmaps
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and business opportunities
- Represent Horizon Labs at global conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial or social impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or MFRA) preferred
