Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-proof strategies into business operations
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario-planning models
- Drive cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products or services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and AI-powered forecasting platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive boards and international audiences
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications on emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of global megatrends (climate, AI ethics, demographic shifts) and their implications
