Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 5-year innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (AI ethics, quantum computing, bio-integration)
- Present strategic briefings to investors, board members, and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating complex future trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning skills with tools like Trendalyzer or Foresight Platform
- Published thought leader with 50+ industry citations or patents
- Experience leading cross-cultural innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio of successful 5+ year strategic predictions with verifiable outcomes
