Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive foresight initiatives through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate future insights into actionable plans
- Produce high-impact thought leadership reports and executive briefings on disruptive forces reshaping industries
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Lead strategic partnerships with innovation labs and research institutions to accelerate R&D initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of future-oriented thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-focused strategies for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and spatial computing
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-LE, Delphi method) and trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and societal megatrends shaping 2026+ landscapes
