Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, societal shifts, and disruptive innovations to forecast market opportunities through 2030
- Develop and communicate compelling future scenarios using quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on strategic innovation priorities
- Build and maintain an expert network of thought leaders across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Create actionable roadmaps for R&D investments in emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into commercial products or strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures publications
- Experience leading global research initiatives and managing stakeholder ecosystems
