Responsibilities
- Design and execute horizon-scanning research methodologies to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Develop actionable 2026 innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into strategic foresight narratives
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and influence high-stakes decisions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications that position Horizon as a future-defining authority
- Mentor junior futurists and develop next-generation foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of translating complex trend analysis into market-ready strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published author or keynote speaker in innovation/futurism domains
- Experience building and managing global research networks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing initiatives
