Responsibilities
- Submit clean claims to commercial and government payers (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Denial analysis and appeals management for rejected claims
- Perform EOB reconciliation and patient account adjustments
- Comply with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations
- Collaborate with physicians on coding accuracy and documentation
- Generate monthly reports for revenue cycle performance
- Train junior billing staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Proficient in Epic EMR and NextGen billing systems
- Strong analytical skills for complex claim resolution
