- Process complex medical claims with 98%+ accuracy across multiple insurance payers
- Conduct comprehensive account receivables analysis and aging reports
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct payer negotiations
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding updates for new service lines
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and audit trails
- Train junior billers on revenue cycle management best practices
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of NY Medicaid and commercial payer policies
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 20%+
