Responsibilities
- Manage complex medical billing processes for diverse specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology
- Analyze claim denials and develop strategic resolutions to optimize reimbursement rates
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to CMS/Medicare guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical teams to clarify documentation discrepancies
- Utilize Epic and NextGen EHR systems for precise coding and billing
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for executive leadership
- Maintain 95%+ clean claim ratio through meticulous quality checks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with specialty focus
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Advanced proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Demonstrated expertise in claim resolution and denial management
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
