Responsibilities
- Manage complex medical billing cycles for multi-specialty practices using Epic EHR systems
- Code and submit claims with 99% accuracy using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS protocols
- Conduct thorough denial analysis and implement corrective action plans
- Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claim discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Train junior billing staff on revenue cycle optimization techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with multi-specialty practices
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or AAPC credentials required
- Expert proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or Athenahealth platforms
- Deep knowledge of RCM workflows and claim scrubbing systems
