Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government payers
- Conduct thorough account analysis and resolve billing discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Manage denial appeals and reimbursement optimization
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership
- Train junior billing staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with RCM systems
- Certification in CPC, COC, or CCS preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EMR platforms
- Strong analytical skills for complex claim resolution
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing requirements
