Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit claims across multiple insurance payers using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS systems
- Conduct thorough claim audits to identify denial patterns and implement corrective actions
- Manage complex patient billing inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Analyze aging reports and prioritize follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation compliance for coding accuracy
- Stay current with CMS regulations and payer policy changes
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all billing operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
