- Accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10 and CPT guidelines.
- Submit and follow up on claims to insurance carriers to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve outstanding balances.
- Analyze billing reports to identify trends and improve revenue collection.
- Communicate effectively with patients and insurance providers regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and billing software.
- Strong knowledge of HCPCS Level II coding and payer policies.
- Associate degree in Medical Billing or related field preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office setting.
