Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections with precision and minimal patient discomfort
- Process and label specimens according to strict laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records using our advanced EHR system
- Train junior phlebotomists on best practices and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
- Current certification from ASCP, NHA, or equivalent
- Proven expertise in pediatric and geriatric blood draw techniques
- Strong knowledge of specimen handling and processing protocols
