Apex Sports & Tech is seeking a visionary Senior Project Manager to oversee the strategic execution of the 2026 FIFA World Cup legacy programs in the United States. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between technical innovation and operational excellence, managing complex logistics and ensuring the seamless integration of smart technologies within legacy stadium developments.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for stadium legacy initiatives and fan engagement programs across multiple US host cities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with FIFA, local municipalities, sponsors, and internal cross-functional teams to align on timelines and deliverables.
- Financial Governance: Manage multi-million dollar budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining premium quality standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential logistical and operational risks and implement robust mitigation strategies.
- Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of smart venue technologies and data analytics to enhance the spectator experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within large-scale sports, events, or government infrastructure projects.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Adaptability: High tolerance for ambiguity; ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
