Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end operational planning for 2026 World Cup venues and infrastructure projects within the host region.
- Collaborate with FIFA, local municipalities, and city planners to ensure compliance with safety, security, and architectural standards.
- Manage complex budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar infrastructure initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional crisis management teams to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity during the event.
- Develop and implement stakeholder communication strategies to maintain transparency with government officials, sponsors, and the public.
- Optimize transportation logistics and crowd control protocols to enhance the fan experience.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in project management, operations, or logistics within the sports, entertainment, or large-scale event industries.
- Proven track record of managing high-stakes projects with budgets exceeding $10M.
- Experience working with government entities or international organizations (FIFA/IOC preferred).
- PMP or similar advanced project management certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a significant plus.
