Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients with complex conditions
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to dosage protocols
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using electronic health records
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of critical care or cardiac ICU experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
