Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for cardiac patients
- Administer specialized medications and monitor vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers
- Implement patient education programs for chronic disease management
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Lead quality improvement initiatives for cardiac care protocols
Qualifications
- Valid NYS RN license with minimum 3 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Expertise in cardiac monitoring and emergency response protocols
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical settings
- Excellent communication skills for diverse patient populations
