Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring sterility and readiness for procedures.
  • Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and sutures, providing a smooth workflow in the operating room.
  • Monitor and maintain sterile environments, adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure zero loss and patient safety.
