Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to prioritize emergency cases
- Collaborate with physicians to develop effective triage protocols
- Train junior staff on emergency response procedures
- Implement electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
- Analyze patient flow metrics to optimize department efficiency
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Represent the department in hospital-wide committees
Qualifications
- 5+ years of emergency room or urgent care experience
- Active Nebraska RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN or Master's degree preferred
- Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems
- Strong decision-making under pressure
- Leadership experience in healthcare settings
