Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists to prioritize critical cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and triage documentation
- Provide clinical guidance to junior nursing staff during peak hours
- Implement departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with EMS teams for seamless patient transitions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with minimum 3 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Critical thinking ability under high-pressure situations
- Experience training triage protocols and workflows
