Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Coordinate patient flow across multiple care units
- Provide critical guidance to nursing staff on complex cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient care
- Implement triage protocols for diverse patient populations
- Mentor junior triage staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 5 years ER/trauma experience
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- Expertise in ESI triage methodology
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work high-pressure environments
