Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient needs using evidence-based triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Oversee emergency department intake and patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clinical guidance to junior nursing staff
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to critical patient situations with decisive action
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 5 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher preferred
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
