Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient acuity and allocate resources
- Document clinical encounters accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
- Train junior staff on triage procedures and critical decision-making
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio with 3+ years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume patient flow
- Expertise in rapid assessment and critical thinking
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
