Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Senior Web3 Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation decentralized ecosystem. At Nexus Future Labs, we are building the infrastructure for the metaverse and Web3 adoption. You will be responsible for architecting secure, scalable smart contracts and ensuring the integrity of our DeFi protocols.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical blockchain architecture and practical implementation, working with a team of world-class cryptographers and frontend developers. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and audit secure smart contracts primarily using Solidity and Rust for cross-chain interoperability.
- Implement complex DeFi protocols including DEXs, lending markets, and yield farming mechanisms.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities before deployment.
- Optimize gas efficiency and performance of smart contracts to ensure cost-effective transactions on the blockchain.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate Web3 wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect) and dApps.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years specifically in blockchain/Web3.
- Deep proficiency in Solidity and Rust, with proven experience deploying to Ethereum, Solana, or Polygon.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain architecture.
- Experience with tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, and testing frameworks like Chai/Mocha.
- Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain bridges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
