Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of mobility equipment
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Light housekeeping and laundry services for client comfort
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current Alaska state caregiver certification or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete training)
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with patience and empathy
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
