Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Accurately document patient care in electronic health records
- Provide emotional support and companionship to overnight patients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach to elderly and disabled care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
