Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions across diverse medical units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Maintain precise documentation and adhere to regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to unit education activities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact license with willingness to obtain Ohio license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new graduates with externship welcome)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in electronic health records
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
