Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and diagnostic test results
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain accurate electronic health records according to hospital protocols
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in telemetry/ICU setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure night shifts
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
