Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and specialized departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using our advanced electronic health record system
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in emergency response protocols and maintain readiness for critical situations
- Adhere to all JCAHO standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license with PA residency)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ASN with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in relevant specialty
- ACLS, BLS, and specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS) required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and safety
