Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and facility protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (or compact state license with quick endorsement process)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certification required; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (ER, ICU, Med-Surg preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems
