Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical unit (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, etc.)
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and response to interventions
- Educate patients/families on health maintenance and discharge plans
- Adhere to JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN or Associate's degree with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Valid driver's license for potential travel between sites
