Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in high-volume emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Provide clear patient/family education on care pathways
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency drills
- Oversee patient flow and department resource allocation
- Mentor junior staff and promote evidence-based practices
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/trauma nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
