Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases in emergency settings
- Provide expert medical guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to determine treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Manage high-pressure situations with calm professionalism
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resources
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 3 years triage or emergency nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
