Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop care plans
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Oversee patient flow and resource allocation in emergency settings
- Educate patients and families on treatment pathways and preventive care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency/trauma nursing experience
- ENPC or TNCC certification required
- ACLS/BLS certifications with current status
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR platforms
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in high-stress environments
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred (ADN with experience considered)
