Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical equipment using provided advanced sterilization systems
- Assist surgeons during procedures with specialized instrumentation and equipment
- Maintain sterile fields and equipment per hospital protocols
- Operate robotic surgical systems and electrosurgical units
- Manage inventory of provided surgical instruments and supplies
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless procedures
- Document equipment usage and maintenance in electronic records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience with modern equipment
- Proficiency in laparoscopic and robotic surgical systems
- BLS certification and surgical instrument knowledge
- Ability to operate provided sterilization and imaging equipment
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to stand for extended periods with provided ergonomic support
