Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment before procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance in accordance with hospital protocols
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards in all surgical activities
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in general surgery
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to operate advanced surgical equipment (provided)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
